I'm not entirely sure. It was just like being locked in a waiting room for a very long time. There were magazines about horses...

How was your week?

It was alright. Kind of boring. It seems that a lot of people left, though. The Barge just feels emptier.

And why horses?

Oh. Was it anyone we knew? Who left, I mean?

I don't know why horses, but they were in a lot of them. "Horse and Hound", "Quality Breeding", "Showjump", things like that.

Nobody I knew, really. Hayley's warden left. She was pretty upset about that.

That's strange. How many horse magazines does the world need?

You're friends with Hayley, right? Why are all of her posts so... unpleasant?

I don't know, but in the Factory there were 232 Horse related periodical publications producing monthly magazines!

She's just a kid. You remember being young, right? Well, imagine being young and suddenly you're an inmate on a prison barge.

That's insane.

~~I'm still young!~~ You know what she should do? What she's told. It'd make her less mean, and she'd feel more fulfilled emotionally.

It is not! We have many lovers of horses in the Factory, and each and every one of them deserved a magazine which was perfectly fitted to his or her tastes!

She's a teenager. They don't listen.

Each person had a magazine fitted to their tastes? That's kind of excessive.

They do! When I was a teenager literally everyone I knew listened, and we were all very happy.

Well, the magazines weren't specifically written for them, but with that much variety there was always going to be one magazine out of the options available which is perfectly "you"!

Prefect, this is another 'not everybody came from the Factory' sort of thing.
