God, this crap again. You don't get to where I have without learning how to throw a punch, alright? The difference between you and me, from what I've seen and heard, is that you seem to think that the only way you can assert your authority is through brute force and petty bullying. Bravo, you're a real bloody hero.

I think you're the sort that doesn't think rules apply to you-- either because you're too 'clever' for them, or because your position renders you above everybody else-- and if all else fails, you can solve all your problems with your fists. Oh, and you use your 'wit' to derail any confrontation.

I know this is probably going to give you a heart attack, but sometimes? You need to break the rules and you need to push people. Babying them? Patting their head and telling them that everything is going to be okay isn't going to do anything and I'd bet my ship that's how you define this job. Great work with that by the way, he seems so inclined to change.

Then you'd have just lost your ship, because that is not how I handle Prefect. Have you even read his file? Do you understand a single thing about what he's gone through, how strange and horrible and alien this place and everybody around him is? If you'd seen him when I first met him, you'd realise that there has been a change, which he is now going to be even MORE resistant to thanks to your ace wardening!

Don't you judge the work I've done with Prefect when you don't even know or understand a thing about him!

Why read his file when he's told me all he wants me to know about him? He's told me about the Factory, about his attachment to you, about his love for gin. Seems like an invasion of privacy to me to read someone's file, just so I can use that information to make him be something he doesn't want to be.

For the record, if I could completely ruin him, like you say, in less then a week... then how much progress have you made?
