Actually, if you can acquire a second key to the garden then... could I... possibly... start setting my own hours? It's been fairly frustrating being forced to work within the parameters of Armand's social life. [aka. NINE TO FIVE IS NOT ENOUGH.]
Not without another warden there to supervise. [Sam would offer, himself, but he doesn't want to work in the garden lol hypocrite.] What hours are you thinking?
What? No, of course-- Prefect. It's the Barge. Even if you're not gonna cause any trouble, it doesn't mean somebody else won't. I can't let you have unsupervised garden time.
Counteroffer 2: Instead of having the entire garden locked, how about the system is altered, so that dangerous tools are locked away, but the garden on the whole is accessible. So, I could get up at three am and do things that don't require an inordinate amount of work, such as watering and weeding, and then at five you could come and unlock potentially dangerous tools and I could commence the more taxing portion of the gardening.

I would like to work earlier mornings. Starting before dawn.

You used to let me take inventory by myself.

Well, I don't call it a night 'til a good few hours after that, so. Five. Or we find a warden who's awake at three.

Comrade, plants aren't dangerous. They don't do anything, they just sit there.
Private
I'm talking about poisonous plants, Prefect.
