That's not good. It doesn't improve situations, it just makes you feel better. The situation's still the same. The Borg Queen is still gone and drinking won't change that. It'll just make you feel good for a while but the problems are still there.

That's because when a bad thing happens, my first response isn't to eat bread. Every time something bad happens, you go to the bottle.

Anyway, I used to drink pretty much constantly, at the same frequency at which one would eat bread!
