Maroni. One of the mob bosses in Gotham. It's partly due to him that the mob ran all of Gotham. I guess I killed him. I was in his car, I shot his driver and the car had a wreck. He's either dear or in pretty critical condition.

I don't think he explained it that well. Either Maroni lived or he died. Chance said he would live. It would be fair to give the driver those same chances. Either the driver lives or he dies. Chance said he would die. Heads you live, tails you die. It's fair.

Because me killing them wouldn't be fair! They needed a chance, just like how I had a chance and Rachel had a chance.

There's a big difference between someone who irritates you and someone you want to kill.
