Throwing in my vote with the Lich King here. Sorry, Prefect, I think the 'if his hands come anywhere near me I'm removing them' approach is totally justified in this case.

Comrade, I'm not saying that you shouldn't be able to protect yourself, but he was born with this ability! He can't help having it, and you can't kill him for that!

Think of it this way, Comrade. Where you're from, people carry swords, right? But unless someone actually goes to take his sword out of it's scabbard, you don't usually assume that he's planning on using it to stab you?

Well, Barron can't not have his hands, but as long as he's got his gloves on, there's no reason to think he's going to try and do anything to you. And-- Comrade, you're not going to become anyone's lapdog. No one's going to allow that to happen, here.

If he starts to take his gloves off, then you have a reason to be concerned and you do whatever you think necessary to protect yourself. All I'm saying is don't attack him just for looking at you, or being near to you, just like people shouldn't attack you on the basis that you are technically capable of destroying buildings with your hands!

Then do that! I don't care if you want to make him stay away from you, I only care about... moderating the reasons why people may or may not attack him.

In order for his ability to work, he would need to make contact between his hands and your exposed flesh. If he ever tries to do this, then anything you do in self defense is fine with me. That's all.
