[Video clicks on, and Prefect is grinning widely at the camera. He looks slightly haggard and slightly more malnourished, but his eyes glow with the fevered light of one who is completely indoctrinated and loving it. He locks both arms over his head, stretches, and begins:]

Citizens! Companions!

Is today not a glorious day to live in the service of our Lord and Master? The sun is high in the sky, the gaseous clouds which plunged us into perpetual twilight last fall are almost entirely receded, we may soon be having a permenant change in the weather, and all prisoners remain in excellent health!

[Oh he's so proud of that! He's practically glowing with happiness! Then he jabs a finger towards the screen.]

And to all of you pamphleteers and would be revolutionaries and assassins? Well, I'll almost certainly be seeing all of you soon!

[He grins so widely it looks like he's going to break something, before reaching forward to kill the feed.]

[Glancing down at his watch, Prefect notes that in exactly three minutes and forty two seconds, it's time for the prisoners to be fed. Grabbing the cart which contains the meagre rations the prisoners survive upon, he sets off towards the holding cells.]

[OOC: Anyone in the jail? Political prisoners/roaming guards/newly arrested bitches/anyone who's in the jail for any reason at all and would like to spam? Feel free to hit me up, multiple threads welcomed!]

[Yeah, probably. He doesn't even try to hide the fact that he's reaching calmly for the guard's throat. It would be entertaining to see how long he could smile without any oxygen going to his brain.]

[Prefect frowns, watching the hand approach. When it's covered a certain amount of distance en route to his throat, he frowns, and suddenly smacks it away, as though belatedly realising that it could be a threat to him.]

Stay still.

[Reaches again. Don't be a party-pooper. Hold still and be strangled. :|]

[Prefect looks concerned for a minute, shifting to move away from Arthas... but then he thinks better of it. You did sound pretty commanding about that staying still thing, and Prefect does like being told what to do...]

[Yeah, he's totally staying still and waiting for the oncoming strangle.]

[Lovely chokery! Wait a minute... this isn't as rewarding as Prefect hoped it would be! Trying to jerk out of the other mans grasp, he gives a short, ineffective gasp for air.]

[Man, he has got to stop listening to the prisoners!]

[O'Brien spots...what was Prefect doing with that prisoner? Choking him... No, he was being choked. He dashes down the corridor and gives Prefect a harsh yank away from Arthas' grasp, then clips him around the ear, on impulse if nothing else - for letting him get in that position,]

Comrade, what happened?

Tell him he should let me out and give me my armor back.

[ Yes, he was going to see how much he could exploit this fun he had found, until such time as the fun was taken away. He leaned against the bars, smirking, and let his arm fall to join the other, fingers drumming again.]

He should-- No!

[Prefect yelped, sounding outraged as he scuttled back out of reach. Glancing up at O'Brien, he managed to look sheepish.]

I apologise, Comrade. I temporarily dropped my guard and he was able to take advantage of the situation. Thank you for your help.

[brb loling]

[O'Brien rolled his eyes and gave Prefect a slight shove down the corridor,] You can't let your guard down around here, comrade. Even so, let's punish him.

[FU Arthas! You get an unhappy look from Prefect]

[Prefect staggers a little from O'Briens shove, but keeps his balance as they set off down the corridor together]

Of course, sorry. You know, for someone who only just started this job, you're very good at it...

[And he continues to chatter away as they fade into the distance.]
